Want to learn how to decorate a Christmas mantle that wows? Follow these easy steps!
1. Buy Christmas Garland in 6’ – 9’ foot length and attach to mantle with removable Command hooks

2. If garland isn’t pre-lit, add strands of string lights to garland

3. Make or buy bows for each side of the mantle and attach to garland using pipe cleaner or twist ties

4. Use a twist tie or pipe cleaner to tie jumbo ornaments together. I used 4-6” ornaments. I found at Dollar Tree but Amazon has them in different colors and sizes here.

5. Attach the ornament bundles to the garland with the end of the twist ties

6. Randomly place assorted Christmas floral picks in the garland

7. Home Depot, Lowe’s and most Christmas tree farms will give you live tree branches and clippings for FREE! You can also use extra branches from your tree. Place these randomly on the mantle to give your garland a fuller look

8. Save your ribbon rolls to roll your ribbon back up for next year and to prop things on your mantle behind the garland

9. Weave ribbon through the garland on top and down the sides. Use twist ties or fold wire branches from the garland over the ribbon to secure

10. Once you’ve achieved your desired fullness and style, You’re done! And that’s how you decorate a Christmas mantle!
